Paper and Poster submission
CERME15 uses an electronic submission system managed by ConfTool
The submission period for paper and poster proposals is open from 1 July 2026 until 15 September 2026.
Authors are permitted to submit just one paper or one poster as the main (corresponding or presenting) author.
The research presented in paper and poster submissions must be new and not published elsewhere. A template for the submission declaration concerning plagiarism is provided in ConfTool and can be downloaded here. All authors should complete the provided declaration form, sign it, and upload it as a third file in ConfTool together with their submission.

The maximum length for a paper submission is eight pages, including references, figures and appendices. For a poster proposal, the maximum length is two pages. Submissions that do not follow the template in full or exceed the length limitations will not enter the review process.
Submission procedure
Authors submit the initial version of their 8-page paper, or poster proposal (two pages), on the CERME 15 ConfTool Submission System (uploading it as both a Word file (.doc or .docx) and a PDF file (.pdf), and titled using the following format: AuthorName_TWGXX.doc. The third file submitted by the authors shall be a signed declaration form. The TWG Leader will organise an internal review in the TWG. If accepted, the final version of the papers will be submitted by the authors on the submission system. If the poster proposal is accepted, then the author(s) brings a hard copy of the printed poster to the conference.
ERME Awards
Authors who wish to be considered for the ERME Paper Award should self-nominate their submission in ConfTool during the submission process.
Authors are encouraged to enter their poster for the ERME Poster Award. E-mail sent to Eirini Geraniou, e.geraniou@ucl.ac.uk, including the title of your poster, the names of the authors, and the number of your TWG. You must submit an electronic copy of your final poster (not the poster proposal) by 10th of December 2026.
Deadlines for the review process of paper and poster proposals are as follows.
- 15th of September 2026: Submission deadline for papers and poster proposals
- 28th of October 2026: Deadline for TWG leaders to enter the contribution status in ConfTool, and send a bulk email to the authors to inform them of the review results, the status of their submission and revisions requested. Each TWG team may also consider rejecting more papers than necessary, with regard to the maximum number of papers that can be accepted.
- 10th of December 2026: Deadline by which the authors upload the final version of their submission for the conference with a description of the changes made.
- 12th of December 2026: The TWG leaders can check the submission list. After this date, no further changes can be made before the conference.
